FLIR E76 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera
- Unleash accuracy and flexibility in every inspection
- Choose from the three lenses available
The FLIR E76 is the next step up in Teledyne FLIR‘s renowned Exx-Series - delivering enhanced thermal resolution, laser-assisted autofocus, and lens flexibility to give you greater confidence in every inspection. Built for electrical, mechanical, and condition monitoring professionals, the FLIR E76 helps you detect anomalies, prevent downtime, and make informed decisions quickly, all while boosting safety and efficiency.
With a 320 x 240 pixel thermal detector, precise temperature measurements up to 650°C (1202°F), and the ability to swap lenses for wide or telephoto views, the FLIR E76 is your essential tool for reliable, real-time thermal analysis.

How is the FLIR E76 Different?
Compared to the E54, the FLIR E76 includes an optional temperature range to 1000°C (1832°F), laser-assisted autofocus, and 3 area measurement boxes, plusUltraMax thermal resolution enhancement and interchangeable lens options!
The FLIR E76 Thermal Imaging Camera offers complete coverage of near and distant targets through a range of interchangeable AutoCal lenses, with fields of view for everything from wide-angle roof inspections to electrical inspections performed from a safe distance and with UltraMax thermal resolution you can easily produce crisp, vibrant imagery that can be enhanced with FLIR MSX technology for added detail and perspective!
The camera automatically recognises when a new lens is attached and launches a wizard to begin auto-calibrating the camera with the lens. There is no need to send the camera in for service. This helps ensure the camera always produces high-quality images and precise thermal measurements.
Access a powerful range of lenses, ready for any inspection scenario:
There are 3 AutoCal lenses to choose from:
- 14°, 29 mm lens: this telephoto lens has a narrow field of view for precise focus and crisp imaging of distant targets.
- 24°, 17 mm lens: often considered the “standard” lens, the 24° x 18° field of view allows users to remain a safe distance from energised equipment (e.g. 3 m/6.6 ft) while still obtaining a crisp focus on smaller targets.
- 42°, 10 mm lens: this wide-angle lens captures the largest field of view for imaging buildings, roofs, or other areas where it’s important to gather the most information in a single image.

FLIR E76 Applications:
The FLIR E76 is ideal for a wide range of inspection and troubleshooting scenarios, especially in electrical, mechanical, and building applications:
- Electrical Inspections: Identify overheating connections, imbalanced loads, and failing components in electrical panels, switchgear, and transformers. The E76‘s resolution and focus help spot subtle hot spots before they lead to downtime or hazards.

- Mechanical and Industrial Systems: Monitor motors, pumps, bearings, and production machinery for signs of wear or misalignment. You can easily detect overheating bearings or friction points in conveyors and other equipment to schedule maintenance proactively.
Facility and HVAC Maintenance: Perform routine facility inspections covering HVAC units, boilers, steam lines, and plumbing. The camera makes it easy to find duct leaks, clogged filters, pipe blockages, or insulation gaps that impact facility efficiency.
Building Diagnostics: Diagnose building envelope issues like missing insulation, air leaks, and moisture intrusion. The E76 can reveal temperature differences that indicate water leaks in walls or energy loss around windows and doors, helping building professionals and energy auditors document problems for repair.
These are just a few examples - the E76‘s blend of clarity, flexibility, and ease-of-use make it a valuable tool in any scenario where quickly finding hidden heat patterns can save time and money.
