FLUKE 2052 Advanced Wire Tracer Kit (up to CAT IV 600 V)
Q) Could this be your new tool box staple? A) Yes, safety should be your first concern when you turn up to any job. CAT IV 600 V rating offers the highest protection available on any wire tracer!
▶ Video Overview: FLUKE Advanced Wire Testers
The FLUKE 2052 Advanced Wire Tracer is built to keep you safe. This extremally handy tool is accurate and safe, designed to troubleshoot both energised and de-energised wires up to CAT IV 600 V in the following working environments: residential, commercial, and industrial.
FLUKE 2052 designed to protect you from:
- The most dangerous levels of transient overvoltage
- Spikes up to 8,000 V which can occur in industrial and utility environment
This is especially important for scenarios you may encounter in environments like industrial plants, factories, and hospitals where critical equipment cannot be taken offline!
FLUKE 2052 Is Convenient:
This FLUKE 2052 Advanced Wire Tracer Kit conveniently comes with everything required to start tracing wires and circuits.
This kit includes all the accessories you require to connect the transmitter to an electrical system. Connecting the transmitter to a bare conductor with the included alligator clips and test leads will always provide the most accurate results. However, in situations where a direct connection to a bare conductor is not available, the included FLUKE i400 AC Current Clamp can be used with the "Loop" mode to induce a boosted 6 kHz signal through the insulation.
FLUKE 2052 Advanced and Powerful
- 2 transmitter output frequencies: The 2000T Transmitter automatically senses whether the system is energised or de-energised and selects a 6 kHz or 33 kHz output frequency
- 8 receiver sensitivity levels: The 2052R Receiver sensitivity levels mean more flexibility and accuracy when tracing
FLUKE 2052 Offers Customised Wire Tracing
Different modes/functions affords you the flexibility to adapt to your workflow and application
Troubleshoot a wide range of electrical wiring and circuitry problems you may encounter on the job. FLUKE 2052 can find breaks or opens and shorts in several application; whether you‘re troubleshooting electrical wiring and equipment in residential homes, commercial buildings, or high-voltage utility plants.
4 receiver tracing modes:
The 2052 Receiver detects the signal in wires and cables using 2 methods:
- Passive tracing without the transmitter for noncontact voltage detection
- Active tracing with the transmitter for all other modes
FLUKE 2052R Receiver‘s Tip Sensor Key Features:
- Trace wires in corners, tight spaces, and junction boxes
- ‘Quick Scan‘ mode for quick signal identification
- ‘Precision‘ mode for more precise detection of a wire
- ‘Breaker‘ mode for easy breaker and fuse identification based on the highest recorded signal detected from the transmitter
- ‘Non-Contact Voltage Detection‘ mode to trace energised wires without the use of the transmitter
FLUKE 2052 Transmitter (2000T) Key Features:
- 3 power transmitter modes
- Works on energised and de-energised circuits up to CAT IV 600 V and features high, low, and loop modes
- Modes change the strength of the induced signal, helping provide more accurate results, depending on the circuit you’re tracing
- ‘High‘ mode for normal energised and deenergised circuits
- ‘Low‘ mode for precision tracing with a low signal to reduce coupling to nearby wires and metal objects
- ‘Loop‘ mode for closed loop de-energised circuits
