FLIR G300A Optical Gas Imaging Camera - Methane / Hydrocarbons
The FLIR G300a is a cooled, fixed optical gas imaging (OGI) camera visualises gas, so you can monitor installations in remote or hazardous areas for gas leaks. Through continuous monitoring, you can catch dangerous, costly hydrocarbon or volatile organic compound (VOC) leaks and take immediate action. OGI cameras are widely used in industrial settings, such as natural gas processing plants and offshore platforms. It can be easily integrated in housings with application-specific requirements.
It allows users to continuously monitor installations in remote areas or hazardous zones that are difficult to access, so inspectors can take immediate action to repair dangerous or costly leaks. The G300a is easily controlled over Ethernet from a safe distance and can be integrated in a TCP/ IP network. With a robust but small frame, the G300a also integrates to an aerial platform for OGI inspections from the sky.

Natural Gas Compliance
Meet regulatory compliance requirements with optical gas imaging
In many parts of the world, government influence on the natural gas industry requires companies to meet regulations in order to reduce emissions. These regulations necessitate that natural gas companies perform regular inspections for leaks. Various technologies and methods are available to complete routine checks, including toxic vapor analysers - or “sniffers”.
But these solutions can be labour intensive as there are often hundreds if not thousands of components to inspect at numerous locations. FLIR OGI cameras can help natural gas industry professionals inspect locations up to nine times faster than with other technologies, precisely identify the leak location, and successfully maintain regulatory compliance.
