Chauvin Arnoux CA8333 Power Quality Analyser

The CA8333 Power Quality Analyser is designed for maintenance and testing in industrial and administrative buildings.

This compact and user-friendly Power Quality Analyser delivers a snapshot of key electrical network parameters while offering extensive calculated values and processing functions.

Equipped with a transient mode, the CA8333 measures inrush current over 4 periods, enabling effective system sizing and troubleshooting.

Comprehensive Analysis

The CA8333 Power Quality Analyser simultaneously captures and records the following:

  • Parameters
  • Transients
  • Alarms
  • Waveforms

This advanced tool performs full diagnostics on electrical systems, helping identify energy losses and resolve power quality issues. The intuitive interface, full-colour screen, and multifunctional design simplify power quality management. Features include single measurements, data logging over time, and built-in configurable alarms.

CA8333 is an upgrade to the CA8331 and introduces transient and inrush modes, extended recording capabilities, and greater functionality. Ideal for maintaining power quality standards, it ensures efficient troubleshooting and corrective action.

Field-Ready Design:

  • Versatile instrument suitable for applications up to 1,000 V in CAT III and 600 V in CAT IV.

Data Processing:

  • PAT Software is included as standard; this is perfect for configuration, data transfer, and analysis.
  • Dataview is optional software and this enables detailed data analysis and reporting.

Test with ESSAILEC Cable!

  • Perform tests without disturbing or interrupting power supply circuits on meters or protection relays in transformer secondary circuits.

Practical Accessories:

  • The Reeling Box is a magnetised winder with MultifFIX system for adjustable cable lengths. Compatible with banana-type leads for voltage and MiniFlex MA193-250 sensors for current.
  • The PA31ER Adapter self-powers the CA8331 Power Quality Analyser (phase 100 V - 1,000 V, AC or DC).
