Baur BUKCI-3 Live LV Cable Identifier (Low Voltage)
BUKCI-3 connects to live LV Cable at 115V, 230V, or 400V; the transmitter will automatically configure to the connected power.
The system transmitter is connected downstream of the point of interest to draw a complex signal into the cable, and upstream a hand-held receiver analyses the
complex signal. The transmitter may be connected to three phase (for example at a link-box), or phase to phase, or phase-to-neutral and it automatically configures to the connection.
The transmitter is normally connected to all three phases downstream of the test point, and in this mode the receiver indicates a simple "yes" or "no" to the operator. In single-phase or two-phase connection, the receiver will display relative signal strength.
